Date:

Publisher brings action RPGs, shooters, simulations, and adventure games to Cologne event

Independent publisher 2P Games has announced its lineup for Gamescom 2026, giving attendees the opportunity to experience several upcoming PC titles through hands-on demos. The publisher will exhibit at Hall 10.1, Stand B-078, featuring a mix of action RPGs, narrative adventures, shooters, and simulation games.

Gamescom, one of the world’s largest gaming conventions, attracts developers, publishers, media, and players from around the globe. This year’s showcase highlights five titles at different stages of development, with several making their first public playable appearance.

Aurebloom Tales Headlines the Showcase

Action RPG combines Zelda-inspired exploration with fast-paced combat

One of the featured games is Aurebloom Tales, a 2D action RPG inspired by classic adventure games.

Players take control of Kornimo, a rabbit swordsman searching for the legendary Golden Apple to save the Rabbit Kingdom from a mysterious darkness that has lingered for a century. The adventure spans an interconnected overworld filled with hidden pathways, environmental puzzles, and 10 handcrafted dungeon temples.

Combat focuses on quick movement, parries, projectile reflection, and rope-based mechanics that allow players to grapple enemies and create strategic attacks. The game also includes an orb customization system that lets players modify weapons and abilities to suit different playstyles.

Visitors to Gamescom will be able to play the title’s first public demo.

Cohen 1939 Delivers Fast-Paced Gangster Action

Top-down shooter set in 1939 Birmingham

Cohen 1939 transports players to pre-World War II Birmingham, England, following Elisa, a widow seeking revenge against the criminal organization responsible for her husband’s murder.

Inspired by crime dramas and fast-paced action games, the title features intense top-down gunplay requiring quick reflexes, tactical positioning, and efficient weapon management. Players can collect firearms and melee weapons from defeated enemies while navigating detailed urban environments inspired by 1930s Britain.

A playable demo will also be available during Gamescom.

R.I.P. Expands Its Bullet-Heaven Experience

Early Access shooter prepares for full release

Another featured title is R.I.P., a looter shooter that combines large-scale horde combat with action RPG progression systems.

Players serve as elite employees of the fictional Reincarnation Insurance Program, battling massive waves of zombies while collecting increasingly powerful weapons and equipment.

Currently available in Early Access on Steam, the game is preparing for its full 1.0 release, which will introduce a new playable specialist named Ling, an additional map with a final boss encounter, expanded weapon options including katanas, a permanent progression system, and a new Endless Mode.

Gamescom attendees will be able to try the latest demo build.

Additional Games Highlight Storytelling and Simulation

The Piper of Dawn blends farming, alchemy, and political intrigue

The Piper of Dawn combines farming simulation, alchemy, visual novel storytelling, and RPG mechanics in a fantasy setting.

Players build an automated workshop, cultivate rare plants, manage a workforce, and navigate competing political factions while making story decisions that influence multiple branching endings.

The title also includes business management systems and optional tavern mini-games.

My Fairy Princess focuses on life simulation

My Fairy Princess offers a fantasy life simulation where players raise a daughter in a world inhabited by humans, immortals, and mythical creatures.

Gameplay centers on managing schedules, education, relationships, and daily activities, with player decisions shaping personality traits, abilities, and one of dozens of possible endings. The game also features seasonal events, exploration, and multiple romance storylines.

Playable demos for both games will be available throughout Gamescom.

Gamescom Demonstrations Offer Early Access to Upcoming Releases

Five playable titles showcase 2P Games’ expanding indie portfolio

All five featured games are currently scheduled for release on PC via Steam, with R.I.P. already available in Early Access and the remaining titles listed as coming soon.

By offering playable demos across multiple genres—including action RPGs, shooters, simulations, and narrative adventures—2P Games is using Gamescom 2026 to introduce players to its growing lineup of independent games ahead of their official launches.

As one of the gaming industry’s largest annual events, Gamescom provides developers with an opportunity to gather player feedback while building anticipation for upcoming releases. For attendees visiting Hall 10.1, Stand B-078, 2P Games’ showcase offers an early look at several new indie titles expected to arrive on Steam in the coming months.
